overview
Static is a [far from complete] spectrum analyzer for OS X that receives input from the RFSpace SDR-IQ. Its design has as its purpose to support many different SDRs and to easily be able to manipulate the data from the SDR to achieve a specific representation of it.
supported hardware
SDR-IQ made by RFSpace supported via the Libusb-based FTDI driver.
screenshots
An early screenshot. The graph is loosely based on Chanalyzer. The red line represents the current values; green fill is the average; blue is the max.
The top graph is a waterfall or history graph. Signal strength is indicated by color (blue is weak; red is strong). The graph code supports arbitrary sizes and durations.
The bottom graph is a simple planar graph. The red line represents the current values; green fill is the average; blue is the max. The various controls fade in/out when the mouse enters/exits the graph view and the four lines (on on each side) track the mouse's location (which doesn't show up in screenshots) within the graph, while the labels show the approximate values for the corresponding axis. And on that note, I'm pretty sure the power/frequency values are messed up. They're close[-ish], but definitely wrong.
